Pamela Lynn-Seraphine is a clinical counselor, consultant, trauma therapist, drummer, and brain-based educator with an uncanny ability to fuse seemingly unrelated topics into a cohesive, inspirational whole. Pamela has overcome extraordinary obstacles to become a trauma survivor, an academic scholar, author, gifted speaker, world-class percussionist, developer of Neuro-Rhythmic Trauma Therapy & expert on the Neurobiology of Empowerment & Interpersonal Neurobiology of Drumming for Trauma Recovery.
Pamela Lynn-Seraphine’s research merges the brain-mind-body relationship of neural integration with the neurobiological underpinnings of drumming to understand its dynamics and improve holistic and integrative interventions in treating trauma and stress-related issues. She has researched areas such as the neurobiology of drumming for interpersonal trauma recovery, the biology of trauma, neurobiology of empowerment, peak performance, longevity, and healthy aging. Pamela Lynn has advanced training and experience in neuroeducation, somatic psychology, and personal growth and is an established educator, speaker, and published author. As a brain-based consultant, Pamela advises on trauma-informed care, and personal empowerment, for music educators, mental health practitioners, and entrepreneurs. She is also able to inspire musicians and non-musicians around the globe towards success and a healthy brain lifestyle as the founder of 21st Century Drummer Academy & Magazine.
Pamela Lynn-Seraphine is a Doctorate Candidate in Clinical Psychology w/Behavioral Neuroscience, 2021; Master of Science degree in Psychology w/Sports Performance Psychology (Magna cum laude); Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Magna cum laude) at California Southern University, in Irvine California (APA Accredited) Pamela Lynn also holds a diploma in Professional Counseling and is a Certified Complex Trauma Therapist (C-CTT-II)
